Political scientist,
graduated in law from Stockholm University and partly
educated at the University of Novi Sad where she has also
learned the Serbo-Croatian language. Lived for several years
in Spain, employed in tourist business, and has also worked
in the Stockholm Prisons and Approbation Administration. Ms.
Coughlin served for several years with the Save the Children
Sweden, being responsible for its program in ex-Yugoslavia.
Then, for two years, she headed the office of another
Swedish NGO, Individuell Människohjälp (Individual
Human Aid), setting up and managing its HQ in Novi Sad,
Yugoslavia.
