BECOME AN ASSOCIATE
Can I become an Associate?
You cannot apply for it. Associates are decided by the foundation's board on the basis of their excellence and their commitment to peace by peaceful means.

SUBMIT ARTICLES
Can I submit articles to this site?
We always look at serious products and may, now and then, post articles that are not written by our Associates. When we do they are of outstanding quality and fit our themes well. But we do give priority to our Associates.

SPREADING YOUR MESSAGE
Can you do public relations on this homepage or through your e-mail service for my organization's activities?
In many cases we would like to, but we regret that we simply do not have the resources and time.

HONOUR PAYMENT
What is meant by honour payment?
It is the same as voluntary donation - the policy also introduced by many museums around the world. You have free access to gain knowledge and benefit from others' experience but, before you leave, you are strongly encouraged to make a donation - from 2 dollars and up - to express your appreciation, help us do more, or work more efficiently, for peace.
We think it is honourable to pay a little when you have enjoyed something extra. Like a tip. And you help us remain absolutely independent.

Why do some pages look different?
When you spend a little time here browsing you will inevitably find documents that look different from the type of page seen here. Some have the same menus on top that this page has to your left, others have many more on top. When you hit the latter, please ignore that top menu and return to the preceding page. Otherwise you're likely to get an error message. When you hit the former type, just use that simplified top menu.

Like in a museum, the exhibition hall looks different from the archive and store rooms, but one can't do without the other.

FUNDING
TFF is an all-volunteer organization. How is that possible?
All TFF Associates have other positions and sources of income. Some are professors, some media people, some consultants. Some are free-lance with many and different types of income. The director, for example, makes a living from teaching assignments here and there and from speaking, training and writing columns and books (besides his full-time work with TFF).
So, nobody is economically dependent on TFF and TFF is not dependent on any one source. That's how we remain free...

ANNUAL COSTS
How much does it cost to do all that TFF does over a year?
Donations from citizens around the world amount to roughly US$ 25,000. In addition, the foundation seeks support for its projects, such as in Burundi, from various grant-making organizations.
