Gitega's governor, Selemani Mossi, kindly invited
me to a spontaneous dance and drum show in the countryside outside
Gitega. Oh, what power, rhythm and joy! No wonder Burundi's
drummers are touring the world. Gitega is the very centre of
this tradition.
